Look what I can do!!

Taylor has done some new and exciting things in the past few days! On Thursday, she rolled onto her side for the first time! She didn't make it all the way over to her stomach, but she is working on it! On Friday when I put her in her jumper she played with the toys for the first time. Before, she just sat there and stared at the toys, but now she is playing with the frog and moving the little beads! So smart! :)

Jumping is Fun!!

Blake put Taylor's new jumper together today. She seems to like it. Her feet barely touch the ground on the lowest setting, but she has figured out that even with her tippy toes she can make the seat bounce. So cute!

Summer time!

I will be out of school at the end of this week and I am so excited to be spending the summer with Taylor! She gets bigger and sweeter every day! She is laughing and cooing all the time- which I love! Here she is in her adorable sun glasses. Blake says it is "pretentious" to put sun glasses on a baby, but it is adorable and keeps her eyes safe! So, she wears them- end of story.

Taylor had a big day at Leah's graduation party and completely konked out on Grammy's shoulder. It looks like her bib is a cape. She's superbaby! Superbaby got to see Memaw and Grandpa August and got to meet Uncle Dwight, Aunt Jan, and cousin Nathan. She also got to meet a lot of Leah's family.

Giggles

Taylor started to giggle on Saturday, May 5! Her cousin Ashleigh was playing with her and she just started giggling. It was the cutest thing! I got a video of it, because luckily I had my camera with me. The next day, Blake and I were in the car, and I was in the back seat with her. Blake hit a bump pulling out of a parking lot and I lunged forward. Apparently that was the funniest thing ever to Taylor, because she laughed and laughed! After that, I purposely threw myself forward (anything to make a baby laugh, right?!) and she thought it was hysterical every time. I love this stage of her "babyhood"! She is just the cutest!!

On Sunday, Taylor got to spend some time with Bebe and Rondad, Granny and Grandpa Bob, and some of her other cousins, aunts, and uncles. We took lots of pictures!

Yep, I'm cute!

Taylor has finally started *kind of* liking bath time. She doesn't scream anymore. Does that count? About a month ago she started smiling ALL the time and she only stops smiling to sleep, poop, and eat, and the precursory crying that accompanies each non-smiling event. Taylor got her first pair of sunglasses today. She looks so cute in them, she hasn't quite figured them out yet. Finally, we have begun to put Taylor on her tummy for a little while so she can start to push up. She does really well for about a minute, the she gets tired and gets mad (and then there's the crying again). She's working hard, though, and hopefully she will be able to push up for longer periods of time soon! :)

Meeting New People

Taylor met so many new people last weekend! She was very excited to meet Great-Grandparents Nana and Papa, and some other extended family members on Saturday! On Sunday, she met some friends of family from Germany that we have been keeping up with since we were both pregnant. Taylor was obviously not too thrilled about meeting new people on Sunday, though.
