While Ron & Brenda were down last weekend, we went to the new Salt Lick in Round Rock. It was delicious! Here is a picture of Taylor with her cousins, Drew and Ryan at the Salt Lick. I can't believe Amber got a shot of them all smiling at the same time! Amazing! The other picture is of my little football fan. She watched the OU & UT game. She screamed when we did, cheered when we did, and yelled GOGOGO at the television. It was so cute! Then last weekend, we watched the UT & Misourri game at Amber & Peter's after the Salt Lick and she was at it again. SHe would yell and say "Touchdown!" with her hands in the air. Too cute.

Clothes Horse
Taylor decided to take all of her clothes I was folding and put them on. Anyone recall Friends, "Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" I think she was wearing at least 5 bottoms, 4 tops, a dress, a sock on one hand, and a diaper cover on her head (maybe 2). She got tired of it pretty quick, as soon as she was having a hard time moving around, and got grumpy, but it was funny while it lasted.
Workin' Out with Daddy!
Taylor watches Blake work out sometimes, and she thinks she needs to get in on the action. She bends way over and sticks her butt out when he does squats and she is doing a great job with pull ups, just like Daddy. While she was doing them, they counted, "One, two, three, four five!" When she finished, she ran to me, gave me a hug, and ran back to Blake and said "Again!?" It was too cute. Speaking of words, she can say, here is a very abbreviated list of her words (she can say SO many!)
gink: drink
funny
bess you: bless you
gape: grape
appo: apple
chez: cheese
I wan: I want
peese: please
ah- white: alright
moe: more
I lo: I love you
pacake: pancake
That's all I can think of, but she has such a big vocabulary!! It is amazing. She also loves to sing Twinkle, twinkle, Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider (Pider), etc. She is a little off key, but it is so cute!
Taylor goes to Drew's Soccer game
Potty Training
We have been working on this for a while, but it slow going. Taylor is telling us more and more that she needs to go, which is a good sign. When she does, we have to sing, the potty song and do the potty dance. I look like the biggest dork, but she loves it. Here is a picture of Taylor on the potty with her newspaper. She was looking at it, then told me she had to potty, so, of course, she brought it with her! :)

Potty Time!
Well, Taylor is starting the potty training process! I know it seems early, but she initiated it, so we were happy to go ahead and try to get her out of diapers. She goes at Ellen's and here. Whenever she goes, we clap and yay and sing the teetee on the potty song. The things I find myself doing nowdays...

Just cute
These are just some cute pictures of Taylor being a little climber. She has fun trying to get into all kinds of chairs. Under this particular chair, she tends to find stray dog fur that the vacuum missed, or dust bunnies, or whatever (we really do have a relatively clean house!) and brings it to me and says "Yucky!" Every time she finds a "yucky" she brings it to me to throw away. It is hilarious.
Watermelon is Delicious
Bag Girl
Well, Taylor is still hauling bags around everywhere she goes. Just another example... You think I had anything to do with her obsession?? Surely not! And as soon as she sees the camera- she's cheese ball Taylor. "Take a picture of ME, Mommy!", "Let me pose real quick." I know that's what she's thinking... nce again... I wonder where she gets it?!?!
Bubbos
Taylor pics in the tub with tons of "bubbos". This is only one of MANY words she is saying now. Her vocabulary has increased 1000% in the last month. It is amazing! She will repeat almost anything. She can ask for specific foods (gapes- grapes, dink- drink, mikk- milk, ice ceem- ice cream, pacake- pancake, pissa- pizza)) the list goes on and on. She is singing her alphabet- a lot of it, anyway, "Twinkle Twinkle," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," all of the "hurrah's" in "Ants go marching," and all of the "Me's" in "Jesus Loves Me." She can say all of her friends' names extremely well. Isabelle is "Isobeow", Marshall is almost perfect, and she was screaming "RYAN!" over at Amber and Peter's any time she wanted to play with him and she couldn't find him. Taylor is also a master at saying "Sit down!", "Go away," and "No Noodle!" (Noodle is Lexie's nickname) I am really amazed at how much she is learning so fast!

Port Aransas Trip 2008
We had a lot of fun on our trip to Port A. Taylor loved the water and when Blake would tell her there was another wave coming, she would "wave" at the wave. Too cute. She hated the feel of walking on the sand, even wearing her water shoes, but she loved the water and she tans really well, so she redeemed herself there. :) We had not the *best* condo, but it was fine and it was right on the beach. The first day when we went to the beach, the seaweed was everywhere and SO smelly! There were crab and clam shells/ decaying bodies everywhere from Hurricane Dolly the week before and that was completely disgusting. We actually walked through what we thought would be hard, dried seaweed and sank up to our calves in gook. SO SICK!!! I was sure I would get a disease from what I tromped through to get to the water. The next day, we drove about 5 minutes down the beach to the "state" beaches and it was beautiful. Apparently the parks people have bulldozers out the every morning cleaning it up. Even the water was nicer, but I think that was due to not being so close to the bay and the pier. In all, we had a great time on the beaches and both Taylor and Isabelle were very well behaved. We had some really yummy seafood and lots of fun just hanging out with our friends. Now Taylor is catching up on some much needed sleep (she didn't take a good nap the whole time we were there!!).
My New Chair
I have been looking everywhere for a chair for Taylor. She loves little chairs and crawls in them all the time. I went to the City Wide Garage Sale for the first, and last, time ever (which I really don't recommend unless you just love old junk- really- not antiques- JUNK) and found this precious chair (the only thing I found, obviously). Anyway, Taylor now has her very own chair to sit in at home. She loves it.
*No offense to anyone who loves the City Wide Garage sale. I do have a friend who manages to find some awesome things there, so I guess it can't be all junk (that's my disclaimer)!!
