Easter Pictures cont...

More- because I can't decide which ones I like best!

Happy Easter!

We went to Taylor on Sunday for Easter and spent the day with Grammy & PawPaw, and Chad, Wyatt and Julie. Taylor looked precious, and even though it was a little cold, she still wore her adorable sleeveless Easter dress. After lunch, we hunted for eggs and Taylor picked up the first one she saw- a purple one. She was content with just her one egg and refused to pay any attention to the other million eggs thrown on the ground in plain sight just for her. She sat in the grass playing with her purple egg and sweet Wyatt would run and find Taylor some eggs and put them in her basket, then get back to hunting for himself. It was the cutest thing. So, Taylor eventually got 7 or 8 eggs and she played with them. She loves to shake them and listen to them rattle. She's been doing that since yesterday and it's keeping her busy. She also discovered that she likes the marshmallow bunnies and eggs. :) "NUM NUM!" as she would say.

In other Taylor news, she is saying some words like "dog", "kahhhhh" (for cat), "dat" (that), "HiDa" to say hi to her Daddy, and sometimes just to say hi in general. She will put anything and everything up to her ear- my cell phone, her bottle, a bottle of bubbles- anything, and say "HiDa!" into it like it's a phone. CUTE!

Taylor is eating real people food and she almost refuses to eat jarred baby food anymore, especially if Blake and I are eating, too. She loves mashed potatoes, potato salad, chicken & dumplings, bread, bananas, and green beans, but only on some days. My baby's growing up!!

Kite Festival

At the beginning of March we went to the Leander Kite Festival at the park by our house with Alissa and Abbie, and Wyatt and Julie. Taylor had a great time playing on the playscape and eating dirt. The other kids liked the kites, but Taylor wasn't too interested. Alissa was kind enough to share her pictures with me, since I forgot to bring mine!!

Tub Time

Taylor loves her bath time! She got a basketball bath toy set from Aunt Leah and she plays with it all the time. The basketballs squirt water out and she just giggles and then opens her mouth to see if she can catch water. She also loves to gather all her bath toys up and, one by one, drop them out of the tub and say "uh-oh!" Totally not an accident, but she loves saying it. Taylor is also big into sharing now. In the picture where she is holding out the basketball, she is sharing it with me. So sweet. She shares everything- her paci, her soggy, chewed on animal crackers, toys, her hair bows- everything! I am totally enjoying this stage because I am sure I will look back on this post and cry when everything starts to become "MINE!!"

Taylor learned a new word yesterday- "Ow!!" Now that she has teeth, Taylor doesn't understand that biting hurts. So, when she bit down on my shoulder yesterday I said "Ow!" and she immediately said "Ow!" Then she grinned and clapped for herself. How cute is that!! (But, I made sure she new biting was a big NoNo!)
