More Summer Pics

Nana, Megan, Taylor, and me at the Bonnett reunion in June.
I call Taylor my little Pixie Stick because she is so tall and skinny, and she prances around on her toes all the time!

Back to Taylor...

Taylor stayed with Grammy & Paw Paw while we were in NC. She had a great time and we heard all about it! Taylor is talking, talking, talking. She thinks she is the boss of the dogs, especially Lexie and she tells her "No!" and "Go go!!" when she is getting on Taylor's nerves or is not sitting in the proper place. Taylor is finally getting in more teeth- a couple of molars, a few more front teeth. She has decided that she likes the water and swimming, but she only likes it in small doses- no 2 hour swims for this girl. She loves bubbles "bubb-bay-ows" enunciating every syllable. Here are a few cute pics from June.

Sorry- It's been a while!!

I didn't realize it's been since May that I'd posted anything. Loser mom here!!! Just to update you, I got out of school at the end of May (YAY!) and Taylor and I have had a lot of fun together. She is getting used to Mommy being home a lot and we love it! Blake and I went to North Carolina for vacation in the middle of June and had a great time. I loved it up there. It was beautiful, the beaches, the trees, the squaking seagulls were all perfect. We stayed on the riverwalk in historic downtown Wilmington on the Cape Fear River with all kinds of cute shops and restaurants. I loved the smell of the salt water and the sound of water and bullhorns from the boats. We had wonderful food of all kinds except Mexican, because, duh, no Mexican food like in Texas, and we found this awesome little ice cream shop right down the road from our hotel that was so yummy. We also loved this cozy diner called Dixie Grill for breakfast. They had the most awesome blueberry pancakes and sweet potato pancakes. All the buildings in the area were really old- like 1800s and there were still brick streets. Wilmington has such a rich history with all kinds of things from famous movies to pirates and old ghost stories (yes, we went on the "haunted" tour of Wilmington! haha). It is a beautiful area and I would move there in a MINUTE if all of my family wasn't here.
