Taylor just gets exhausted from all the picture taking. It must be horrible being so cute.
(This is a rare moment of exasperation. Usually when she sees the camera come out, she gets all hammy, puts one her fake smile, and gets front & center!)
We went to Bebe & Rondad's for the 4th. We had a good time there with Taylor's cousins Ryan & Drew. We swam a lot, played, and ate lots of ice cream. Taylor loves to stand on things designed to sit on and she decided to stand on a tricycle. She was obviously very proud of herself. (Thanks for the stolen pictures, Amber.)
This evening, Blake was showing Taylor how talking in the fan makes your voice sound funny. He showed Taylor and she got the biggest kick out of it. She did it herself (multiple times) and died laughing immediately after (multiple times). The pictures of her bending down are when she is talking into the fan. When she is standing, she is laughing at herself! Speaking of talking, she is saying so much. "What's that?" "Go away" "puppy" (finally!!) "I don't know" (more like "Iunno") and several more that I can't think of at 11:40 PM. She is saying more words and she talks all the time!!! I love it!
Taylor was trudging around in my shoes today. She was getting them on and off all by herself and was practically running in them. It was so cute. She has amazing balance!! She was very proud of herself, clapping, and laughing!
She loves toothbrushed and brushing her teeth. I have actually gone to the store and gotten her some toothbrushes to play with so she won't steal ours! It works most of the time, but whenever she sees Blake or me brushing our teeth, she wants our toothbrush. It's not all bad, though, because she brushes very well on her own and isn't very hapy when I double check her good job. :) This was before church on Sunday. Hillarious. (Good thing she & the bathroom are color coordinated... haha)
When I get ready to go somewhere, Taylor LOVES to sit in the sink in front of me. Don't worry, I am very careful that I am always behind her and she will not fall. The sink is pretty deep, so she gets a nice back rest and she LOVES to look at herself in the mirror and watch herself brush her teeth.
I sat Taylor in her high chair for lunch one day and when she saw that her food was not ready, she "patiently" waited with her hand on her face. If she could have tapped her foot while waiting, I think she would have.
Taylor & Caleb played in the pool at Grammy & PawPaw's one hot day. They had a great time, except Caleb couldn't understand why Taylor didn't like to be sprayed with the water hose. He has so much to learn about girls... :)
Taylor & Isabelle decided, one evening, to take all the toys out of Taylor's toy box and use it as a chair. Very cozy until Taylor gets out, trips, bites her tounge, and blood gets all over Mommy's shirt. It was all over for her... until the next day. :)
