I didn't realize it's been since May that I'd posted anything. Loser mom here!!! Just to update you, I got out of school at the end of May (YAY!) and Taylor and I have had a lot of fun together. She is getting used to Mommy being home a lot and we love it! Blake and I went to North Carolina for vacation in the middle of June and had a great time. I loved it up there. It was beautiful, the beaches, the trees, the squaking seagulls were all perfect. We stayed on the riverwalk in historic downtown Wilmington on the Cape Fear River with all kinds of cute shops and restaurants. I loved the smell of the salt water and the sound of water and bullhorns from the boats. We had wonderful food of all kinds except Mexican, because, duh, no Mexican food like in Texas, and we found this awesome little ice cream shop right down the road from our hotel that was so yummy. We also loved this cozy diner called Dixie Grill for breakfast. They had the most awesome blueberry pancakes and sweet potato pancakes. All the buildings in the area were really old- like 1800s and there were still brick streets. Wilmington has such a rich history with all kinds of things from famous movies to pirates and old ghost stories (yes, we went on the "haunted" tour of Wilmington! haha). It is a beautiful area and I would move there in a MINUTE if all of my family wasn't here.
