Winter Wonderland

February 23, 2010... Can you believe this is our yard in Leander, TX?!?! It snowed basically all day!! I can't believe how HUGE the flakes were. The dogs liked it ok and were interested for about 5 minutes until they got too cold. Sebastian wanted nothing to do with it. Taylor had a blast playing outside until Daddy pelted her in the head with a snowball and made her cry. Check out that picture- It's hilarious!! We couldn't help but laugh. She wiped the snow off her slide saying, "Get off my slide!!" So bossy- even to the snow. Evan was mildly interested. Little does he know that this is one of the very few times he will see it snow like that here in Austin. We all played and had a good time, even me, with my horrible Frankenfoot boot. My sock got all wet and I obviously couldn't run like I wanted to in the snow, but I threw my fair share of snowballs. Taylor also got a free shot at Blake in return for his snowball to the head. I'm not sure exactly how many inches we got, but the snow stayed all day long. It was beautiful.

Artistic Child

Taylor has become quite the photographer. She took all of these pictures, except for the pic of Evan with the barrette in his hair. She thought it would be nice to dress up his hair, like she dresses up her ponies' hair. Next thing you know, he will be having tea with her and wearing floppy hats... great.

Bathtime, Evan!!

Bathtime has become one of Evan's favorite times. He loves splashing in the water and chewing on the bath toys (that makes Taylor a little crazy and she feels that she has to tattle). As he chews the toys he growls at them. He loves growling. I think he thinks he is a monster. It is too cute. Between the growling and constant drool, I am beginning to wonder...

Taylor is a doctor

Taylor played doctor on Daddy's bellybutton with her new doctor kit she got at Christmastime. Hilarious!

Happy Birthday, Taylor!!

It's hard to believe that Tay is already 3!! She amazes us everyday with her vocabulary and her funny phrases. Out of nowhere, she says things like, "That's what I'm talking about." "You're making me crazy." "I'm sick and tired of this." "I'm not happy with you." When she is trying to comfort someone, she says, "It's ok, I got you." Taylor also thinks she needs gum, candy, and Tinkybell fruit snacks. When she sees someone on a motorcycle, she says, "Mommy! I see a guy!!" EVERY TIME!! When she sees a letter "T" in anything- Texaco, on a shirt, Taco Bell- anywhere- she says, "Mommy!! It's T for me!!" because her name starts with a "T". :) She is a crack up.
Taylor had a great party with her friends and family at the park. Luckily, her big day was beautiful.

Isabelle's Birthday

We went down to San Antonio for Isabelle's Birthday party. The girls each got to build a Build-a-bear. Taylor dressed hers up like "Tinkybell". Then we all went to the Magic Time Machine for dinner. The girls got a Magic Potion drink that is basically lemonade that has dry ice, so it looks like it is smoking. Pretty cool. They got to see Tinkerbell and she put fairy dust on the girl's faces. After dinner, they both got their faces painted. Taylor got a pony, of course. :)

Ellen's Birthday

This is a little out of order, but that's ok. In December, we went to Ellen's surprise party. Taylor and Isabelle were serenaded by some band member friends of Ellen's. They made up a song that had Taylor's and Isabelle's names in it. The girls loved the music and they quickly made friends with the guys. So cute.

Sassy

Bebe needed pics of the bling shirt she made, so I told Tay that she needed to model the shirt... this is what she did. haha

Ft. Worth Stock Show

We went to Bebe and Rondad's house and went to the Ft. Worth Stock Show. Taylor's first stop was the pony rides. She talked about riding ponies for 2 weeks before we went. When she finally got on the horse, she squeeled and giggled the whole pony ride. It was adorable. Then we went to the petting zoo. Mmmmm... not so much... it was "ok." She did enjoy chasing the chickens and saying "Here Chickens!! Come here!!" I think she gets that from her Memaw, who called their cows by screaming, "Here Cows!!" Taylor would have nothing to do with the llamas though. I don't really blame her.
Next to the petting zoo were the tea cup ride and the dragon roller coaster. Definitely her mother's child, she insisted on riding the Dragon Roller coaster. She barely made the height limit by a "pony nail." She LOVED the roller coaster. She also loved the tea cups. I tried to help her turn the steering wheel to make the tea cup go around faster, but she wouldn't have it. "I will do it ALL BY MYSELF!!" lol <--That, she gets from her father... :) We only got to do 2 rides because it was so stinkin cold!! We had a great time and the kids both really enjoyed time with Bebe and Rondad.
